| FEES
Fees for consultations are guided by recommendations from the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and vary from time to time.Individual sessions are 1.5 to 2 hours for the first assessment session, and 1 hour per treatment session. Options are also available for phone consultations. Fees vary depending on the therapist you are seeing and your eligibility for Medicare rebates- please feel free to discuss fees with us.
Fees for workshops, group sessions, psychometric assessments and reports vary depending on the client’s needs.
MEDICARE AND PRIVATE HEALTH FUNDS
MEDICARE rebates are now available to clients receiving psychological services with a Mental Health Care Plan from a GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician referral for up to 12 sessions per calendar year. Rebates vary from 15 to 85% of the session fee depending on the session format (individual vs group therapy) and length. This usually amounts to between $75 and $110 worth of rebates per individual session. Psychologists at the practice are recognised providers with Medicare and various private healthcare bodies. If you are not eligible for Medicare rebates, you may still be able to claim from your Private Health Fund with the right level of cover (e.g., MBF, Medibank Private, NRMA, NIB, etc.). Please contact us to find out more about our fees and your eligibility for rebates.
